Everyone who organized the St.OA on September 19, 2020, decided to establish an association. The founding meeting, and thus the founding of the association, took place on November 21, 2020. At the same time, we decided to call ourselves Streetzrock eV.

Our goal is to promote art and culture, which is why we have been granted non-profit status. To this end, we host at least one open-air event annually (the St.OA).

Why the move to the club?

It's simple! Hosting an open-air event is fun, enjoyable, and uniquely designed, and full of ideas.

When organizing the 2019 and 2020 events, everything was more or less handled by one person. Organizing further events in this way would be complicated and unsustainable for one person. Several people should share the responsibility and planning to ensure a bright future for events. not to endanger. Every event requires as many helpers as possible so that tasks can be distributed among several people, making the work and processes much more relaxed for everyone.

Furthermore, there is nothing like a strong community that can work together towards a common goal and share its fun and joy with like-minded people.

What can you expect from us?

First and foremost, enthusiastic people who want to establish a rock/metal open-air festival in the Lüchow-Dannenberg district. On September 19, 2020, despite the coronavirus pandemic and the restrictions in place, they demonstrated that virtually anything is possible. It was a lot of fun proving to everyone that nothing is impossible!

What else?
The experience of helping to build and revitalize the Streetzrock eV association from the ground up. Certainly gaining interesting experience as an organizer, certainly seeing enthusiastic attendees at the events who will return to St.OA again and again in the future, that awesome feeling of having created something good. Again, this is only possible through hard work in front of and behind the scenes.

At our founding meeting, we established a membership fee of fifty euros per year. The amount of the fee is determined by the number of members and the club's ongoing expenses.
