Everyone who hosted the St.OA on September 19th, 2020 decided to found an association. The founding meeting for this and thus of course the foundation of the association was on November 21st, 2020. At the same time we decided to call ourselves Streetzrock eV.
Our goal is to promote art and culture, which is why we have also been awarded non-profit status. For this purpose we organize at least one Open Air every year (the St.OA).
Why the move to the club?
Very easily! Organizing an open air is fun, it is a pleasure, it is individual in design and imaginative.
When hosting the 2019 and 2020 events, everything went more or less through one person. Organizing further events in this way would be complicated and also not sustainable for one person. Several people should share the responsibility and planning to have a good future for events Not to endanger. Every event needs as many helpers as possible so that tasks can be spread over several shoulders so that the work and the processes are much more relaxed for everyone.
Beyond that, there is nothing like a strong community, united in pursuing a common goal, sharing their fun and joy among like-minded people.
What can you expect from us?
First and foremost enthusiastic people who want to place a rock/metal open air in the Lüchow-Dannenberg district. On September 19th, 2020, despite Corona and with Corona conditions, it was shown that almost anything is possible. It was so, so much fun to prove to everyone that nothing is impossible!
What else?
The experience together, the association Streetzrock eV, to build up and revive from the roots. Certainly gain interesting experience as an organizer, certainly enthusiastic visitors at the events, who will visit the St.OA again and again in the future, experience that awesome feeling of having created something good. Again, this is only possible through work in front of and behind the scenes.

In our founding meeting, we raised a membership fee of fifty euros per year. The amount of the contribution is made up of the number of members and the running costs of the association itself.
